i need to renew my passport, and the service fee is $910 HKD, that's about $180 AUD, kill me!
for a new SAR passoport, it's like $320 HKD only

today's 18th, 1st day back home. and 1st day of schoolies! how i wish i could go on schoolies, and ali told me they ususally dont take last year students for SP, so...i wont be able to go next year? or maybe i'll just fail all my exams and so next year wont be my last, well that's a bit extreme isnt it?

hey luke, u remember that 'boyfriend-pillow'? guess what? i saw the ad on the paper today!! and it's about $150AUD, man....how expensive is a fake boyfriend? haha!:)

our family went out for dinner last nite, it was soooo good, we had lobster! yum! and i ate like i hadnt eaten for 10 days! and everything seems a bit overwhelming to be here...the people and everything, how weird is that?

hi guys, i'm in singapore right now, typing with this tiny keyboard, and free internet, how awesome is that?!
it's raining and lightning here, and i was tired, yea, i was stupid i had a coffee, a black one, couldnt sleep for the whole flight, well i was soundly asleep after talking to Pin, yes, we took the same flight, how great was that? so i slept for 17 minutes, which was great, now i'm waiting for my connectin flight back to HK! wow!!!

Pin said Hi (well he left already, but i assume he wants to say hi to y'all), and yea, he wanted me to buy him some colonge(is that how u spell it??) at the duty free shop since i told him i had singaporean money....haha
well laters!!! make sure u dont miss me too much, and i'm missing you guys already!

i had a fun and hot day at Geebung, i was glad that i got the msg at 10:15, so i dashed to the train station, got on the train, on the way to Geebung. i almost burst out laughing when the train got to Sunshine...which is the the station b4 Geebung, coz today's such a nice day and all the sunshine and i was listening to Ricki Lee's "Sunshine"....wahahaha

i needed my laptop coz my friend was gonna come and get some pictures off the computer, and yeah, he came and he got the pictures! and he forgot the soccer ball, again.

so i got my laptop back, but really doubtful, that they had done anything to my laptop, it's still really really hot, or maybe there isnt anything wrong with my laptop, oh well it's still under warranty, it's free....well the train tickets werent free though....i had fun at Geebung, yeah, i think that's the north-est i've ever been by myself! waaaaa

and the home phone, argh, i just wanna crush the phone, well i shouldnt coz it's not its fault...
there's nooooooooo dial tone, so i couldnt get on the internet, yea,i'm at uni now, starving....i dont wanna go back to uni at all, coz i'm done this year, well, there's free internet and it's air-conditioned, so i claim back what i've just said...

and i got no reception in my room, so whenever my friends call me on the mobile, i have to stay still...otherwise they'll hear 'hello? hello?? can u hear me?'
and every time i forget to bring my phone, ppl call me, what's up with that?

and yes, i havent started packing yet, well i was going to, but then i got the msg to pick up my laptop...so now my room....woaaaaa, so messy

anyway, i think i'm gonna go eat something coz i'm really hungry!

and pete, dont use the dictionary.com translator anymore, it doesnt make sense...see what u've done in your last comment, my friend (who knows chinese), thought that something happened the other nite, well that's actually what it meant...that's quite embarrassing...hahah, but i found it quite funny!

2 days ago i finished my exams, i was thinking that i should start packing, then i thought, um, it might be too early, i still got 11 days then

today's monday, 9 days left, i havent started packing, coz i dont know where to start, once i get it started i'm fine, but to get it started is really hard.

and i'm soooooooo bored at home? it's always like that! I'm always the first one to finish my exams, i even finish b4 my friends have their first one...

so any suggestions for the remaining 9 days in brisbane?

and you know the brisbane council(whoever operates the public transport) has signs and posters everywhere saying,' yea, take the airtrain to the airport, it's quick, it's cheap(i doubt that...) and you won't be stuck in traffic'
i agree, but what about if your flight is 2350, and the last airtrain is 1900? so am i gonna do that again this year?

i took the same flight last year, departed 2350, i was at the airport at 1922! wahoo! they didnt even let me check-in coz i was way too early! blame airtrain! i was so bored, but thanks CG for calling me and we talked till my battery died...

so this year, who'd like to give me a lift? lol

does it worth the money?

my friend in England went shopping the other day, and she saw this chocolate statue... it's 250 pounds, does it worth the money? 250 pounds, that's appromixmately $605 AUD...well, $3.78 AUD for a block of 250g chocolate (when it's not on sale...)

$605/$3.78=160 blocks

160 blocks x 250g=40000g=40kg

are there 40 kg of chocolate in that statue?

i can't tell, my friend should have stood next to the statue, so i can at least estimate how big the statue is...

now what?

i've finished my exams...as free as a bird, but now what? maybe i should start packing...wahaha, yea, i'll need 11 days to pack! i sorta have a mix feeling for packing - 1) it means, I'm going home really soon! 2) what about if all my things dont fit in the suitcase? and my luggage's overload, would they still let me get on the plane without charging me XXX some dollars?

so what should i do in these 11 days besides packing? um, should i study (ahem, yea...) that driving book to get my learners? do you guys have faith in me that i can do that? lol :) that would be an intensive self-teaching, self-learning course! or should i leave it, take the book home, study, then get the learners after i come back? but actually, what's the point of getting a license if i dont have a car? i guess here are some reasons i need a license:

1) when i work, it'd be all shift works, and what about if i work in a dodgy hospital that public transport is poor, or i might get mugged when i get off nite-shift...

2) so i can give ppl a lift? yea, that wouldnt be a good idea though...:P

3) most importantly, i will need to DRIVE MY KIDS to school!!! not that i have kids now, but when I HAVE SOME, i cant really always rely on my husband to drive them to school...and little kids taking public transports on their own is not a good idea, at least i think so

so can anyone else think of any other reasons that i need a license?


and yea, i had 2 hours sleep last nite
why?
- i wasnt studying
- i was procrastinating
- sarah said she should be home by 10:30ish, but it was like 12midnite and she still wasnt home
- i was worried
- then i heard a car and someone opened the screen door, but i didnt hear sarah walking upstairs
-i was worried again, worried that she might forget her key, and felt bad calling me to open the door for her, so she went with her friends...or she was trying to open the door, then she got mugged in that 10 seconds...
- 5 minutes later, i couldnt stand it anymore, i went downstairs, there wasn't anyone
- and i was worried, again
- i msged sarah to see if she's alright
- she called me, said she''s just outside the complex
- i asked her if she was trying to open the door earlier
- she said no
- i was very very worried, actually very very very scared! coz someone tried to open the door and tried to get into our place :0
- luckily i locked the door, otherwise you might not see this post.
- sarah was scared by what i said
- so i went downstairs to 'pick her up'
- i heard noises outside
- i couldnt sleep, coz i was scared!
- i prayed that Jesus would come protect me!
- and He came at 4 in the morning
- i slept soundly
- i got up at 6am for my exam...

oh what a nite!
and from now on, i will always always lock the door!

frustration

have u ever felt so frustrated that you dont know if you should just get up and do something? like-
your housemate went to the toilet every hour during the nite, and the toilet is next to your room, frankly, i really dont want to know and am not interested in knowing when u go to the toilet, but hey, i couldnt help it...

mozzies in your room just wouldnt let go of your feet and legs and pretty much your whole body...

and when u try to study, the crickets outside just wouldnt stop...um...talking? yelling? making noise...so here i am.

all new

i got some new neighbors, yes, they moved in like 2 days ago, sorry pete, lol
i dont know if they are young-ish, old-ish or whatever how old they are, but pretty sure one of them is a cello-learner...now he/she's playing his/her beloved cello, at 9:36 pm, it's quite annoying...

and i got a new housemate! Sarah! and she's so good she made me dinner tonite! yummy korean rice cake soup!

ouch

i saw a purple bruise-look-alike on my knee this morning, and it didnt hurt, so i poked on it, ouch, it hurt! it was from the bus on the way home last nite...and it is a bruise!
