Gordie's dreaming place

now what?

i've finished my exams...as free as a bird, but now what? maybe i should start packing...wahaha, yea, i'll need 11 days to pack! i sorta have a mix feeling for packing - 1) it means, I'm going home really soon! 2) what about if all my things dont fit in the suitcase? and my luggage's overload, would they still let me get on the plane without charging me XXX some dollars?

so what should i do in these 11 days besides packing? um, should i study (ahem, yea...) that driving book to get my learners? do you guys have faith in me that i can do that? lol :) that would be an intensive self-teaching, self-learning course! or should i leave it, take the book home, study, then get the learners after i come back? but actually, what's the point of getting a license if i dont have a car? i guess here are some reasons i need a license:

1) when i work, it'd be all shift works, and what about if i work in a dodgy hospital that public transport is poor, or i might get mugged when i get off nite-shift...

2) so i can give ppl a lift? yea, that wouldnt be a good idea though...:P

3) most importantly, i will need to DRIVE MY KIDS to school!!! not that i have kids now, but when I HAVE SOME, i cant really always rely on my husband to drive them to school...and little kids taking public transports on their own is not a good idea, at least i think so

so can anyone else think of any other reasons that i need a license?


and yea, i had 2 hours sleep last nite
why?
- i wasnt studying
- i was procrastinating
- sarah said she should be home by 10:30ish, but it was like 12midnite and she still wasnt home
- i was worried
- then i heard a car and someone opened the screen door, but i didnt hear sarah walking upstairs
-i was worried again, worried that she might forget her key, and felt bad calling me to open the door for her, so she went with her friends...or she was trying to open the door, then she got mugged in that 10 seconds...
- 5 minutes later, i couldnt stand it anymore, i went downstairs, there wasn't anyone
- and i was worried, again
- i msged sarah to see if she's alright
- she called me, said she''s just outside the complex
- i asked her if she was trying to open the door earlier
- she said no
- i was very very worried, actually very very very scared! coz someone tried to open the door and tried to get into our place :0
- luckily i locked the door, otherwise you might not see this post.
- sarah was scared by what i said
- so i went downstairs to 'pick her up'
- i heard noises outside
- i couldnt sleep, coz i was scared!
- i prayed that Jesus would come protect me!
- and He came at 4 in the morning
- i slept soundly
- i got up at 6am for my exam...

oh what a nite!
and from now on, i will always always lock the door!
