I've got red packets from my parents, my uncles, my aunties and some neighbors! There's $$ inside...:)
But at the same time, my i-pod died, how sad!:( I bought it for less than a year...argh!! Should I get a new one? Or get it fixed? I don't know... but i cant live without music!
and, I'm home all alone. My parents are on vacation, and my sis...well she needs to work, and she's not coming back home for the night, when she called me and said ,'hey i'm not coming home tonite', i was like,'what the???' i'm gonna be home alone tonigt, frankly, i'm a bit scared...it's soooooooo quite!

this is what i wanna say today, i'm not mad or anything, i just feel weird...

a week ago, i tried to call my housemate in brisbane, i dialed '1-617-38xx-xxxx'...as you all know, australia's phone code is 61, and 7 is queensland, and the rest is my home phone number, you may think, what's the '1'? well...i thought, and was told (ages ago), 1 is the international code, if you're calling an overseas number, u need to dial that first. so i did.
it was connected, but no-one picked up the phone, i waited, then a voice message came up, 'hi we're not home right now, please leave a message, thank you', in a very very american accent way...i thought,'ummmm...i dont think that was me...and i dont think we have left a message on our phone, we dont even have that voice message service...'
so i hung up...
i dialed again...the same message came up...
a few days later, i asked my mom how to call an overseas call(yea shame on me), she said ,'61-7-38xx-xxxx'....er......what happened to the '1'??? then who did i call that time????????
so i dialed again, like what mom said, and i sucessfully talked to my housemate for 2 hours with sore teeth...
the phone bill came today, it said i called a number in USA, as i remember, i didnt...so i looked at the number, '1-617-3xxx-xxx'....wahahaha, so i looked up the internet to see who's the lucky one...it's a guy named Pat in Massachusetts, USA...so glad he didnt pick up the phone! (P.S. it was a girl's voice in the voice message)
aftering writing that post about 'i might not be able to go to MMTL camp', i thought, 'hey, as long as i dont have afternoon shift that week, i can still go, it's always a fri-sun camp...' yeah i think i'm right, even i have afternoon shift that week, i can still go, maybe the next day or if someone's that nice to pick me up...lol...anyway
well, got my stitches removed, i'm still not eating normally, i'm still chewing with my left side only, i'm afraid that i'll drop some food in the hole...so yea, it will take a while to overcome that 'fear'... and good news, i can put three fingers vertically in my mouth, well barely, but it's better than a few days ago...and tell me who can't put 3 fingers vertically in their mouth except Pete? or maybe he just has a small mouth, or i have a big mouth...
i remember when i was i dont know how old, i could put a whole fist in my mouth, one time it was stuck in there, tried so hard to pull it out without hurting my teeth
and wahahaha, only one more week of work, then Chinese New Year, then i'm coming back to Brisbane! time flies when u're busy...
what's the point of having a semester break whil everyone's having uni?
and why while everyone is having their semester break, i'm on prac?
prac for 4 weeks, starts from week 5, 27th March, so I probably can't go to MTTL camp....>_<
i'm gonna have my stitches removed tomorrow, and i'm actually a little scared, i hope it wont hurt too bad...
and yea, i still cant open my mouth as wide as i used to...i cant even put three fingers (vertically) in my mouth, it feels like there's something pulling from every direction. and i've been chewing with my left side of my teeth for a week, my right teeth are really 'hungry' now...:)
and my face is still a bit swollen, mom told me to put a hot pack on my cheek, and i did, even i knew it was wrong, i should put an ice pack...(to slow down the blood circulation of that area, if you use a hot pack, it will increase the blood circulation and makes it even more swollen), and yea, my face was even more swollen...thanks mom and yea, i'm such a goody...:P)

my friend was glad that i didnt post up photos of my teeth...actually...i was thinking...
to put up pictures of the suture line in my mouth, haha yes i'm gross...
ha, i was having a banana last night before mom went for a shower, i was still munching on that same banana when she came out from the shower, she was like ,'geez, u're still eating that banana?'...my mouth just couldnt open wide, and i eat a like a lady now, lol :)
but i did something today and it kinda opened up my mouth a bit : talking on the phone for 2 hours...hahahaha...my jaws are a bit loosen now! yay:P
my face is still swollen, but not as bad as yesterday, that's what my sis said, and yea, she got too scared to get her wisdom teeth out by looking at my swollen face, and her excuse is : 'i need to go to work'...well whatever...
and today i feel so much better, i speak so much better, i mumbled a lot in the last 2 days, coz i couldnt open my mouth, it hurt when i did. and i'm eating heaps more and finally some different kid of food instead of porridge and banana...
i was going to post up some photos of those 2 teeth here, but then i thought it might be too gross and scare away those ppl who are gonna get their wisdom teeth out...:)
the day after the surgery
today's the first day after my surgery, frankly, it's not as painful as mom told me, or maybe i just tolerate the pain really well, so far i've taken 2 painkillers, which was the time the anesthetic fading away...
pain is not that bad, but my face is swollen quite badly, looks like i have an egg inside my right side of my mouth, which is quite funny...and i dont have fish lips anymore :)
sorry, when u're in pain, you just need to do something for distraction.
so here i am, and yes, i'm still bleeding, i had the surgery at 10 this morning and now it's 6, so i went back to the dentist a while ago, just got home, now i'm all good, and my lips are like fish lips now, and it's funny touching them...hahaha
actually it's not that painful, but i just hate that it wont stop bleeding, i wanna eat....and i couldnt open my mouth that wide, it got too tired...
the pain has started to kick in an hour ago...arghhh
my trip to the dental hospital (part II)
yea, another trip to the dental hospital, it meant to be just a consultation from the dentist, but then he said (not the Orlando-look-alike, how sad, he's a middle-aged man, but he's nice), 'well i got canceled from a patient today, would you like to get your wisdom teeth out today?'...wow that was so unexpected, and i always wanted to get them out b4 i go back to brisbane, so i said 'yes' right away...
it's not that painful (as in now, i don't know about a few hours later), but all those noise from those equipment (i dont know how to call them) was quite scary...it took about an hour for 2 teeth on the right side, still got 2 in my mouth, dont think i can get them out soon though.
and i'm still bleeding, i dont feel the pain now, but my dentist gave me some strong painkillers...so i suppose it will hurt quite bad...ahhhh
