my trip to the dental hospital
i went to the dental hospital today, i waited for hours, from 8 to 12...., and still they wont extract my wisdom teeth, need to book for another appointment, and once again, i'm not happy about that, i dont think i can get them out before i go back to brisbane. the only good thing about this trip: the dentist looks like Orlando Bloom and his name is Jamie Derek, but he speaks fluent cantonese, better than mine i tell you ;)
after christmas
today's the first day back to work from christmas...i slept in most of the xmas holiday, and today i got up at 0730, yes it's early. so, i kept yawning about 20 times per minute (yay i'm the queen of yawning!:) ), my lunch didnt help, i still kept yawning, so i sent our 'president' a msg telling her that(since in her mind i just snort), and asked for a joke to wake me up since our dear 'president' couldnt come and slap my face, but i got no reply, :(
anyway, i got my belated christmas present from my host-parents in the states, well actually it wasnt a belated one, the postman delivered the parcel to my place on 23rd morning, but there wasnt anyone home, so he took it back to the post office and left a slip, tell me to pick it up at the post office...but there's a problem, the post office near my place opens 0930 and closes at 1700, how can i pick it up, i need to work...so i requested to pick it up from the post office near my work, and i picked it up today, yay.
but, the slip said the parcel weighs 9.9 kg, i was thinking,'wow, what could that be?', but when i picked it up today, it was so light, actually it says 9.9 OZs on the parcel, but i dont know why, it's a huge box!! that's a bit disappointing...:P i got a necklace, a bracelet, a snowman ornament and a card...but we dont even have a christmas tree, where should i hang up the snowman?
yea, and that's not the end, it was raining so i took the bus home instead of walking home, i was sitting there, a dude got on the bus at the next stop, and the bus moved right away, so he lost his balance...he sat on my christmas present...i wasnt really happy about that, and he kept sitting on my pressie, as if his bum couldnt feel there's a huge box underneath, and i was like, 'hey dude, can u see a box here?', but i didnt say it, i just tried my very best to 'rescue' my present...but if he didnt 'land' on my christmas present, he would land on my lap, which one is worse?
i've been sleeping in lately since it's holiday...well for y'all it's still holiday, but for me, i need to work, need to get up early everyday! dehhh :(
and i had a very weird dream last nite, someone from SL called me, yeah far from brisbane to Hong Kong...haha, but i dont remember one thing about the dream...
i just came back from the dentist, i have a good news, and 2 bad news
good news: i didnt have my teeth out, i still have wisdom! yay!:)
1st bad news: i couldnt get my teeth out at the dentist even i wanted to
2nd bad news: coz my 2 wisdom teeth at the lower jaw are so bad that i need to get them out at the hospital 'o'...this is not good, and i'm scared, i just want them out as soon as possible! and mom was talking me to go back to brisbane later, no wayyyyy, i just got the application form for leadership camp!
you can tell they are quite bad (i dont know which one is right which one is left), they are like perpendicular to the tooth next to them....>_< and yea, you can see my name up there...
But at least, i will have a very merry Christmas! and same to y'all!!!

i have decided, to lose my wisdom, should i use 'lose' or 'loose', seems they both are correct, lol.i'm going to see the dentist tmr arvo...on christmas eve! but i'm just gonna have x-ray and stuff, not officially getting my teeth out.
i wonder how much it's gonna cost, possibly more than my what i earn for a month...>_<
and yea, we had a christmas party at work today, the food was good, and haha, i won something from the luckydraw, a mini-oven, well it's not really mini but it's not those we have at home, those built-in oven...but i'm happy, we dont have an oven here at my parents' place and i'm serious, and i know that mom's been wanting an oven like that...

when you have to vomit, you just have to, you can't hold it and tell yourself,'hey i can wait...' there's no such a thing, this is my story of today.
and walking with a cramped right foot is really funny, it made me laugh...this is so random...
how ironic is that? being a nurse-to-be, i dont know how to take care of myself, and i hate seeing the doctors.
i've been sick since last thursday night, i had gastroenteritis, and all i've eaten since that night and now is way less than what i ususally eat in one meal, i'm so serious!
and mom keeps forcing me to go to the doctor coz i'm not eating, so yea, i'm forcing myself to eat, that's so not me...and yea, i'm gonna be a nurse...
i didnt go to work, not that i hate it that much (well actually i do, but it was alright yesterday since the boss wasnt there, she's just not very approachable...), nor that i slack, i just couldnt make it, i visited the toilet non-stop last nite and i had an orange so far since lunch yesterday, i just couldnt eat and i dont feel hungry and i dont feel like eating anything at all. today's the last day to post parcels and cards to the states, so i dragged my weak body to the post office, and i'm home safe (i didnt pass out or got killed when crossing the road...)...but it's good coz i've shredded a few pounds already, lol!
Maybe i should thank Him for that. :)

the only thing i enjoy is on the way home from work, i can look at those cute pups at the pet shop near home...they are so cute!
1st day of work
argh, 1st day of work, still got >50 days left, how can i make it? it's soooooooo boring!! i'd rather work at the hospital with no pay!!!! had a headache during work, and it's a problem to find a place for lunch, people just E V E R Y W H E R E, i dont know where they come from, they are like cells division, 1 splits into 2, 2 into 4, 4 into 8, 8 into 16, 16 into 32, i'm not exaggerating!! they give me a headache! i miss having lunch on the grass at uni!
anyway, guess what i saw at the supermarket today? VEGEMITE!! i bet they'll expire real soon since i dont think anyone in HK will like it, probably those really homesick australian here,lol
start working tomorrow, hopefully the people there are nice, like last year's...why they dont let me work in the same department?
guess what? I'm counting down, again, yes! i like counting down...officially 2 months till i go back to brisbane, man 2 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! frankly i wanna go back, like now!

back from Beijing...
hey i'm back from Beijing, it wasnt as cold as i expected, too bad! i mean it didnt feel that cold even when it's like 1 or 2 degree, it was way colder at women's camp i tell you!
anyway, the first thing i saw on the way to lunch...
i didnt know that i had a hotel, lol! it's called Gloria Plaza Hotel! cool...
after lunch we went to Tiantan, which is where the Emperor prayed for harvest...
see it's not that cold, that's one of the architectures of Tiantan, they are renovating others...i dont know how old that building is, maybe a few hundred?
then that night we went to a place where all Beijing-ren like to go eat, there are hundreds of stalls selling kebabs and other interesting stuff, it was quite interesting but i didnt eat any, since the hygiene wasnt that good...
look at these girls, isnt it awesome? we went to a circus, and yea, saw a lot of amazing things and performances...geez, i dont know how long they've been practising...
the girls in the pic were spinning plates with a long stick, they had like 5 in one hand, and they had to do some really difficult postures...amazing!
this was taken in Summer Palace, where the Emperor and Empress spent there summer holiday in order to avoid the heat in their Palace...the trees are pretty!

they are making dumplings...yummmmm
<----that's Great Wall... it's 10,000 miles long, and it took 256 years to build, i have no idea how they built it in the old days, how they transported the stones and all those...another incredible architecture!
and it's really steep, you can easily fall if you dont grab the rail...
